Cultural Manchester: 5 Days in the Heart of England
Music, football, art, industry, and a city reinvented – Manchester awaits
Tour Overview
Experience the vibrant culture and history of Manchester with our five-day package. The £1,000 per person package includes accommodation, daily breakfast, guided tours, and transportation.
Manchester is one of Britain's most dynamic, creative, and historically significant cities. The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, the home of Manchester United and Manchester City, the city that gave the world the Hallé Orchestra, the Haçienda nightclub, and the music of Oasis, The Smiths, and Joy Division – Manchester has contributed disproportionately to global culture for over 200 years.
Today's Manchester is a city in constant creative renewal – the Northern Quarter's independent cafés and vintage boutiques, the architectural drama of the MediaCityUK waterfront, and the extraordinary collection of the Manchester Art Gallery reflect a city that never stands still. This five-day tour captures the full cultural richness of one of Britain's most exciting urban destinations.

The building alone justifies the visit. Free entry. Evening walk through the Gay Village around Canal Street – a vibrant, welcoming neighbourhood.
Day 3: National Football Museum & Stadium Tour

Interactive exhibits, the Jules Rimet Trophy, and exhibits tracking football's global cultural impact. Afternoon guided tour of either Old Trafford (Manchester United) or the Etihad Stadium (Manchester City) – see the dressing rooms, walk the players' tunnel, and sit in the manager's dugout. Choice of stadium based on group preference.
Day 4: Salford Quays & MediaCityUK
Walk or tram to the stunning Salford Quays waterfront development – one of Britain's most dramatic urban regeneration stories, transforming the former Manchester Ship Canal docks into a thriving media and culture hub. Visit the Imperial War Museum North – one of Daniel Libeskind's most powerful architectural statements, with deeply moving collections and exhibitions about the impact of modern warfare on people's lives. Tour MediaCityUK – the new home of the BBC, ITV, and numerous production companies, where much of British television is now created.
