Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: London – Borough Market & Culinary Introduction

Arrive in London. After hotel check-in, your food guide leads a two-hour guided tour of Borough Market – one of the world's greatest food markets, trading on London Bridge since the 13th century. Sample artisan breads from a wood-fired oven, taste unpasteurised farmhouse cheeses, try salt-cured meats from traditional British producers, and discover the extraordinary variety of specialist food stalls from around the world. Evening welcome dinner at a celebrated London restaurant showcasing modern British cooking.

Day 2: London Cooking Class & Michelin Dinner

Morning hands-on cooking masterclass at a prestigious London cookery school. Your Michelin-trained chef instructor teaches you to prepare three classic British dishes with a modern twist – perhaps a cured salmon with heritage beetroot, a slow-cooked shoulder of British lamb, and a sophisticated bread-and-butter pudding. You'll eat your creations for lunch. Evening dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant showcasing the finest modern British cuisine – an evening that will redefine your understanding of what British cooking can achieve.

Day 3: Kent English Vineyards

Day trip to the vineyards of Kent and Surrey – the heartland of England's extraordinary sparkling wine revolution. English sparkling wine, produced in the same chalk soils as Champagne, has been winning international blind tastings against Champagne houses. Visit two English wine estates, guided by a certified wine educator who explains the geology, the grape varieties, and the production process. In-depth tastings of white, rosé, and sparkling wines from both properties. A revelation for wine enthusiasts.

Day 4: Yorkshire Food Trail

Drive north to Yorkshire – Britain's largest county and home to some of the country's finest food producers. Morning visit to a traditional Yorkshire cheese farm producing Wensleydale, Swaledale, and other regional cheeses. Guided tour and tasting. Lunch at the iconic Betty's Tea Rooms in Harrogate – a Yorkshire institution since 1919, famous for its fat rascals, Yorkshire curd tarts, and extraordinary Swiss Rösti. Afternoon at a Yorkshire craft brewery – tour the brewing process and taste a range of ales, IPAs, and stouts rooted in the Yorkshire tradition.

Day 5: Scottish Seafood Day

Travel to the Scottish Borders for the finest seafood experience in Britain. Morning at Eyemouth fish market – one of Scotland's busiest fishing harbours, where the day's catch arrives directly from the North Sea. Visit a traditional Scottish salmon smokehouse to understand the age-old process of cold-smoking salmon over whisky-barrel oak chips. Lunch at a celebrated coastal seafood restaurant – perhaps oysters from Loch Fyne, hand-dived scallops, and grilled langoustines from the Firth of Forth. Return south in the afternoon.

Day 6: Welsh Farmers' Market & Cooking Class

Cross into Wales for a morning at an authentic Welsh farmers' market. Sample the extraordinary diversity of Welsh artisan food: laverbread (a seaweed delicacy unique to Wales), Welsh rarebit, Perl Wen and Black Bomber cheeses, salt marsh lamb, and fresh produce from Welsh smallholders. Afternoon hands-on cooking class with a Welsh chef specialising in modern interpretations of traditional Welsh cuisine. Learn to cook cawl (the national soup), Welsh cakes on a bakestone, and a contemporary laverbread appetiser.

Day 7: London Artisan Producer & Departure

Return to London for a final morning visit to a London artisan food producer – the rotation changes seasonally and might be an award-winning chocolate maker, an east London gin distillery, a French patisserie, or a South Asian spice blending house. You'll receive a hamper of artisan British food and drink to take home as a delicious reminder of your culinary journey. Transfer to the airport for your departure. Au revoir – and bon appétit!
